5 Tips to Nourish Your Body

Prioritize Sleep

The average human adult needs 7-9 hours of rest. Lack of sleep actually causes you to get fat. Sleep and weight are closely related. Good sleep promotes concentration and productivity. Depression is linked to poor sleep as well.

Get a Massage

Massages should not be viewed as a luxury treatment but a wellness necessity. Massages have several benefits. They help reduce stress and anxiety and for all of my Spoonies, massages increase your immunity.

Smiling makes you look and feel attractive. It also makes you feel happier no matter the situation. Smiling improves your immune system. Science shows that the body releases more white blood cells when you’re smiling. White blood cells are responsible for protecting the body.

Eat Colorful Foods

Colorful food means: fruits and vegetables. They provide a ton of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, fats, and even antioxidants. You eat well you will feel better and properly nourish your body.

Love Yourself

The most important way to nourish your body is to love it. You have to love yourself girl (or boy lol) or nobody will. Think about how you show your significant other love. You may cook dinner or do kind gestures to show that you love them. Well, you should apply those same affections to yourself. You owe it to yourself.
