Welcome back to Ashley’s Anatomy!
This will be my first blog of 2019 on the new and improved website. What better way to kick off things than with WEED!
You read correctly, weed… cannabis (actually the CBD oil). I will be giving you guys my one-month review/impression of Koi CBD.
Along with being diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, I also struggle with Anxiety, Depression, Pain, Insomnia, and Nausea. I almost never have an appetite and funky smells make me gag. I’ve tried Zofran (anti-nausea medicine), Dramamine, Tums, Pepto Bismol, none of it really helped. Believe it or not, I struggle to sleep every night. My insomnia is especially terrible during climate/seasonal changes but I try not to take sleeping pills. Needless to say, I was so excited to try vaping CBD oil to treat these terrible side-effects.

But first…
What is CBD Oil?
CBD Oil is Cannabidiol. It is the 2nd most prevalent cannabinoids found in plants. CBD oils don’t include the THC (the part that gets you high). This product has been proven to treat pain, insomnia, nausea, and anxiety in patients. It’s completely legal. I promise. I bought my vaping products and Koi CBD vape oil at a local vape shop with my own money. You can read more about What CBD Oil is at CBD Oil Review.
Koi CBD Oil

I purchased Tropical Popsicle in 500 MG. I didn’t want to start off with a higher concentration like 1,000 MG and then not have anything stronger to gradually increase to.
INGRIDIENTS: 100% Natural Cannabidiol (CBD) Isolate, Food Grade Vegetable Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Natural & Artificial Flavorings

How Does It Taste?

Koi’s website describes Tropical Paradise as ” the ultimate summer vape with each inhale as you cool off with tropical island flavors like Cherries, Citradelic exotic Lime, and savory California Whitebark Raspberries. It’s a brilliant taste for a brighter day. “
My description: It’s refreshing, sweet, and didn’t give me cotton mouth after vaping.
How Did I Use It?
I purchased a $30 Nord Kit- Smok

One Month of Vaping:

I really enjoy using Koi CBD Oil. Maybe it’s the act of blowing out huge smoke clouds that I find therapeutic or the smell lol. I tested the effects with the oil alone for a week. When I would get a headache, I’d try vaping the oil first instead of taking pain medication. I noticed with mild headaches and muscle aches the oil helped ease the pain tremendously. With severe head and body aches, the oil didn’t help a ton. The combination of an Aleve and vaping the CBD oil really worked.
Vaping the oil helped ease my nerves. Seriously… I can only describe it as a calming sensation that drapes over your body. My baseline is anxious and always on edge. I kind of feel like I’m always on “GO” and ready to take off running. I noticed that after about 3-4 puffs I feel like I can breathe.
My vaping schedule looks like:
- Morning: Before breakfast (Helps give me an appetite and reduce nausea)
- Afternoon: Before lunch
- Night time: Dinner until Bedtime (Helps calm me down for bed)
I’ve only been using this product for a month, but I’m happy with the results. I definitely recommend trying if you experience chronic pain, insomnia, or naseau. If you all would like a more in-depth video review
