Honest Review of Good Molecules’ Niacinamide Serum

January 19, 2024

I want my skin to glow! I want someone to take one look at my complexion and say “Wow, you’re radiant!” (Without implying a pregnancy lol). During the winter months, I have noticed my skin lacking in luster. So I searched for a serum/treatment to liven up my skin. After researching niacinamide I stumbled across Good Molecules. The cost grabbed my attention immediately.

**This is not a sponsored post, I purchased this product with my own money. All thoughts expressed in this review are honest and my own**

This skincare brand is distributed out of California and made in Korea. Good Molecules’ Niacinamide serum is made with 10% niacinamide. This product claims to promote smooth, even skin and minimize the appearance of pores. My expectations for this product weren’t that high. Keep reading for a comprehensive review of this product.

Background & product claims

I didn’t find much background information about GM. On their website’s about me section they give us a little more insight. “The world has enough products that don’t work and cost too much” is the intro line and not a lie was told. They created Good Molecules to change this problem.

The Niacinamide serum claims to minimize the appearance of pores and improve the texture of your skin. It also claims to brighten and create a healthier-looking complexion. The ingredients include Niacinamide, propylene glycol, glycerin, 1,2 hexanediol, and other organic chemistry words that help preserve a skincare product. Check out the full list here: Ingredients List. The concentration of niacinamide is 10%.

Bottle Details

It’s available in 30ml and 75ml bottles. A standard clear dropper is included. It’s lightweight and easy to open.

Texture, scent, and application

The niacinamide serum’s texture is similar to water but thicker. It’s not sticky or greasy. There is no scent or fragrance as well. The overall sensory experience is pleasant when applying. It dries fairly quickly. The instructions suggest allowing a dry time of at least 15 seconds before applying your next skincare step.

The application process involves pinching the dropper/ top of the bottle. I love the ease of measuring out a small amount of product. I only use 4 drops of serum on my entire face after I’ve applied toner. I allow the serum to absorb and dry on my face for a minute or two before moving on to the next step in my routine.

Performance and Results

I used this serum twice a day for 2 months consistently. I ordered my first bottle at the beginning of November 2023. It is now January of 2024, 2 months of usage. I feel that I can give an honest review of this serum. I’ve noticed a few improvements in my skin. For starters, my complexion looks more vibrant. My skin tone is also more even. My skin barrier has never been healthier. I can physically feel a difference in the texture of my face as well. It feels more supple and plump as if I’ve drank a lot of water the day before. I can tell that my skin is hydrated and calm. I have eczema and have dealt with flare-ups and blotches of dry skin for as long as I can remember. Using this niacinamide serum helped my eczema blotches chill out.

Final Verdict

My overall assessment of Good Molecules’ Niacinamide Serum is, I’m thoroughly impressed. It works and backs up its claims. I have already purchased my 2nd bottle after going through the first in about 2 months. I would recommend adding this product to your skincare routine. It works and doesn’t break your pockets in the process. I love it! I’d rate this product a 10/10 in my book. Would you try this product? Let me know in the comments. Also, feel free to drop suggestions of other skin care products you’d like me to review. Thanks so much for reading!

I purchased the hyaluronic acid serum and their wake up eye gel are absolute game changers at an amazing price. I suffer from eye bags and this works perfect as well as the hyaluronic acid serum has made my face look ten plus years younger. It has made my wrinkles extremely less noticable and gives me a gorgeous glow. I can’t wait to try their other products and I’m now an obsessed consumer for life.

Slowly but surely I’ve noticed I’m replacing my skincare products with more and more of Good Molecules. They have this Yerba mate eye cream that I swear by. It fills in the fine lines under eyes to help prevent concealer caking in there. Love love love that it’s getting attention!

❄️ June is Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month! 🎀 M ❄️ June is Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month! 🎀

Myasthenia Gravis (MG) is a rare autoimmune neuromuscular disease that causes muscle weakness and fatigue by disrupting communication between the nerves and muscles.

Symptoms can include:
✨ Drooping eyelids
✨ Double vision
✨ Difficulty speaking or swallowing
✨ Weakness in the arms and legs
✨ Shortness of breath
✨ Extreme fatigue

MG is often invisible, unpredictable, and misunderstood, but for those of us living with it, the impact is very real.
This month, I’m helping spread awareness, sharing my journey, and amplifying the voices of others in the MG community 🩷

💗 June is Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month, and i 💗 June is Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month, and it only feels right to share what I’ve been navigating behind the scenes.

What started as the flu quickly spiraled into one of the most severe MG exacerbations I’ve experienced. Within days, I found myself in the ICU fighting to regain strength to breathe & walk comfortably.

✨This carousel walks through my timeline, treatments, and what recovery has looked like so far. ℹ️I’m unable to get IVIG for MG emergencies ✨

🩸 PLEX is a procedure that removes blood from the body, separates out the plasma containing harmful antibodies, and returns the blood with replacement fluids. For MG’ers it can help remove the antibodies that attack communication between nerves and muscles.
