Chronically Navigating Through Life

Yoni Steaming with Educated Lotus

January 1, 2020

For starters, could you introduce yourself and your business, Educated Lotus, to readers?

I am Angela,  owner, and operator of the Educated Lotus.  I am a nurse with more than 20 years of healthcare experience and a mother of 3 with one biological daughter. I started trying to create a wonderful spa-like Yoni Steaming Experience at home about 3 years ago. I studied herbs and using countless herbs in multiple ways as well as combinations. My time of reading,  researching and experimenting showed me my true passion for Holistic Feminine Care. From that, Educated  Lotus, my line of Feminine Health and Energy Products was born. I started in with my LLC in 2018 and finally did a soft launch in my Sister’s Hair Studio in Mid July of 2019.

Yoni Steams put simply is a steam lavage for the private area.  Yoni Steaming uses water hot enough to produce steam. The steam is infused with herbs for their medicinal and/or Spiritual properties. Quite often it is referred to as a Yoni or Vaginal tea. The herb Infused steam us directed to the private area to gently assist the womb with expelling congestion,  infection or dysfunction.

  • Physical, emotional and spiritual benefits
  • Yoni steams are recommended for painful menses and fertility challenges for which they are highly effective when done properly and regularly
  • Steaming cycles that can be used to treat menses pain (dysmenorrhea)
  • Absent menstruation (amenorrhea)
  • PMS
  • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
  • Discharge, odor, chronic yeast infections
  • Emotionally, yoni steams can assist in the release of emotional baggage, tension, anxiety, and bring closure

How often should a person Yoni steam?

How often a woman steams varies depending on what she is seeking or treating. Steaming can be done up to 3 times a week. I have a preferred Regimen of once a week. So consultation for the initial needs when starting to Steam is key and when all immediate concerns are addressed it can be done as little as once a month.

Can Yoni Steams help with chronic illness?

I find that Yoni Steaming along with a is very beneficial with chronic illness. I find that it provides gentle support for the healthy maintenance of your Yoni providing treatment as well as balancing maintenance.

What important herbs and natural ingredients are included in the Educated Lotus’ steams?

I use premium, food, and therapeutic grade product ingredients.  My steams are made with Organic herbs and the recipes are formulated for specific purposes.  My products are made to give back to my consumer Holistically.  They are my ministry. So I cannot say that one ingredient or a group of ingredients is important.  It is the quality of all of my ingredients that is important to me.

Could you introduce your Yoni steaming products to readers?

Currently, I have Several Yoni Steaming Blends:

  • Original Dry Herb blend
  • Powdered blends including Lotus Rejuvenation which is a maintenance blend
  • Sensual Sunshine for gentle exfoliation and a refreshed sacred smile
  • The Menopause Blend

Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop a comment.

Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking what theme you’re using?
(and don’t mind if I steal it? :P)

I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours– but
the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.

In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching
for “royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the works.

Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the coronavirus scare!

❄️ June is Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month! 🎀 M ❄️ June is Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month! 🎀

Myasthenia Gravis (MG) is a rare autoimmune neuromuscular disease that causes muscle weakness and fatigue by disrupting communication between the nerves and muscles.

Symptoms can include:
✨ Drooping eyelids
✨ Double vision
✨ Difficulty speaking or swallowing
✨ Weakness in the arms and legs
✨ Shortness of breath
✨ Extreme fatigue

MG is often invisible, unpredictable, and misunderstood, but for those of us living with it, the impact is very real.
This month, I’m helping spread awareness, sharing my journey, and amplifying the voices of others in the MG community 🩷

💗 June is Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month, and i 💗 June is Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month, and it only feels right to share what I’ve been navigating behind the scenes.

What started as the flu quickly spiraled into one of the most severe MG exacerbations I’ve experienced. Within days, I found myself in the ICU fighting to regain strength to breathe & walk comfortably.

✨This carousel walks through my timeline, treatments, and what recovery has looked like so far. ℹ️I’m unable to get IVIG for MG emergencies ✨

🩸 PLEX is a procedure that removes blood from the body, separates out the plasma containing harmful antibodies, and returns the blood with replacement fluids. For MG’ers it can help remove the antibodies that attack communication between nerves and muscles.
